THIRD FOR BAYTON IN TWO DAY BATTLE ON WILIERS
Two days racing saw Wilier-sponsored GWR Team’s Grant Bayton clinch an excellent third overall in the Totnes-Vire Stage Race held in Devon over the weekend.
Promoted by the Mid Devon CC, the race – now in its 35th year – saw a quality field of 74 riders from across the UK. (more…)
Luke Smith – Archer Support Road Race
Luke Smith is a 25-year-old supported Whyte rider from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. He is a mechanical engineer by trade for a diamond company and has made a glittering start to his new season by winning the Thetford Winter Series – although illness almost put paid to his chances. Billy Wenham – St Louis – Fiffe road race, Belgium
Billy Wenham is a very talented teenager from Gravesend who is taking his racing so seriously he had no time to celebrate his 18th birthday. In fact, he was so busy training for his weekend racing that he got hit by a car! (No serious injuries but a dented road bike!). BAYTON SCORCHES IN FOR GWR TEAM AT HAM HILL
The sun shone on race star Grant Bayton as he sprinted to victory for the Wilier-sponsored GWR Team at Sunday’s Ham Hill road race.
In unseasonably warm conditions Bayton crossed the line near Yeovil in Somerset to take top honours in a high-paced and exciting race. (more…)

Ballan Scores Amazing Win For Wilier then Celebrates with the Family!
Lampre wunderkind Alessandro Ballan stormed to a win in the Belgian Classics taking the tape in the 91st Ronde van Vlaanderen.
The 27-year-old Italian proved he belongs with the best after whipping an elite field, including 2006 winner Tom Boonen in the Muur of Geraardsbergen. (more…)
