After several scheduling changes, half an hour of highlights from the Lincoln Grand Prix will be screened on British Eurosport on Saturday 26th May at 5pm.
The programme will then be repeated several times during the following week, and will also then be available from www.cycling.tv
Look out for the lads – Grant, Dan, Nic and Peter -Â in the GWR Team colours, as they battled against over 150 rivals and up the 1 in 6 cobbled hill they climbed 11 times!
Peter Kench powered to victory and a second place in the space of three days for the Wilier-sponsored GWR Team, – the fourth rider to chalk up a win for the squad this season.
Thursday saw the team compete in the second round of the Castle Combe Summer Series, over 17 laps A testing 51 kilometres of the motor racing circuit. (more…)
The Wilier-backed GWR Team’s newest signing, Jon Pain, took his first victory for the team in heavy rain at the Worcester St Johns Road Race on Sunday.
Pain, joined by GWR Team mate Ben Luckwell, faced almost 60 riders to contest 124 kilometres over six laps of an undulating 11-mile circuit based at Kempsey. (more…)

Grant Bayton, of the Swindon -based, Wilier-backed GWR Team produced one of his best efforts of the season when he took on the country’s best riders in Sunday’s Lincoln Grand Prix.
The long established race, now in its 52nd year, is one of the most well-known on the UK domestic calendar and every one of the 180 riders entered were keen to take victory in the tough 86-mile event, contested over 11 laps of a circuit that included the awesome 1 in 6 cobbled climb of Michaelgate in the centre of Lincoln. Luke Smith is a 25-year-old supported Whyte rider from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. He is a mechanical engineer by trade for a diamond company and has made a glittering start to his new season by winning the Thetford Winter Series – although illness almost put paid to his chances.
