SAMMY RIDES THE TOUR
Marin-supported rider Sammy Bryant had the honour of being one of the club riders that led off London’s successful stage of the Tour de France. She borrowed a Wilier Escape for the day and rode it in the pre-race event in front of hundreds of thousands of people – she even had time to thank Mayor Ken for his foresight in allowing the Tour to disrupt the capital. The Kent teenager says it was the greatest day of her life so far. This is Sammy’s report:
