Tim Stimpson riding the Wilier Lavaredo for charity……

Filed under: Blogroll, Wilier News — Keith @ 1:06 pm

We all know of people who have  been effected by Cancer or Ill health and we all try to help raise funds to try to help people, especially young people overcome these disadvantages. My best mate was diagnosed with Cancer 5 years ago but with the help of Dr McMahon he was successfully operated on to remove the Cancer from his brain and now he has set up a Charity, the Danny Porter Foundation to raise money for the Hospital that saved his life. We cycled from Glasgow to Sheffield over 300 miles and so far we have raised over £30,000.

Wilier kindly gave me an amazing bike to do the ride on and I am pretty sure I had the best bike out of all the rugby lads and I just want to say thank you. I am looking forward to riding on more money raising and morale boosting Charity Bike Rides with my friends from the Wooden Spoon and I can now say how much I enjoy cycling and the challenge of staying fit enough to do such a great Bike justice!
